walking around with a visiting friend, running into no less than 3 ethnic fairs. the ny-wide bbq fest, the indian fest, and the puerto rican fest. lotsa cowboys, indians and white ppl in flowy indian garb, and new rican kids/adults/seniors gettin stupid/dumb/retarded/hyphy. ate a delicious tongue taco in spanish harlem.
snapping a shot of all the hotel patrons standing outside at midnight while the fire alarm shrieked on and on and on and on and on (about 2-3 hours, eventually fell asleep with a towel taped to the fire alarm and a pillow jammed up against my face). no fire either.
catching giant squid 2 feet long in san diego. the boat was so laden with giant squid, it looked liked it rained squid. their skin fluctuates in color to try to match the boat's beige floor so it looked like a star trek warp core if it was gray/beige.
freezing in time the pure, unadultered happiness from my lil niece ella.
meandering through the ny gay day parade because my friend wanted to "find ice cream" after lunch. he was the only one walking around with his mouth gaping open the entire time. but don't get me wrong, the parade was very exciting. i saw this lesbian couple in g-strings. one with the words "sexy ass" tatted on her ass, one word per cheek. they were posing in stripper configurations for everyone to snap photos. car stopped at an intersection, we were forced to watch a stopped float displaying tons of gay men having sex with the air for about 5 minutes. interesting. got me a free wooden, spank stick.
maintaining 8 foot waterfalls on each side of the car for half a minute simply by spinning my front tires while sliding down a street in a torrential downpour in dallas. simply beautiful from inside the eclipse. it's like having rear wheel drive!
capturing the abundant activity and joyful air in and around the beautiful neighborhood park right outside my window.
for the september trip to hawaii.
